Within the American Wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, there will be a gallery dedicated soley to their permanent collection of samplers.
The website from The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America has newley catalogued American samplers, and is an excellent resource: Decorative Arts Sampler Survey. They hope that collectors will submit their samplers for inclusion, as well.
