The sixteen cross stitched roses function as the border, each with its bud facing towards the framed register of vital records. The silk was worked onto wool and is in very good condition with two small holes. The sampler is conservation mounted into a 19th century gold frame. Sampler size: 17W' X 153/4\Price: $2,400. M.
