A fine pair of Turkish Ottoman panels, these are hand embroidered with silk and metallic thread. Depicted on each is a fat bunch of grapes and their leaves on tendrilled grapevines in a scalloped blue bowl. A stylized border surrounds each composition. The work on the reverse, seen in the photo shown below, is just as neatly finished as that on the front. Framed sizes: 12¼” x 10¾”  and 11½” x 10½”

Worked in silk and metallic thread on cotton, these are in excellent condition, each now conservation mounted into a reeded walnut frame.
