Location and Hours of Store

The shop is located at 936 Pine Street in Philadelphia, just a short walk from Independence Hall, and the historic section of Philadelphia. Please call ahead to be certain of our hours on any given week. We are generally open Monday through Friday, however we always suggest a call ahead to confirm that we will be here. We are available weekends by appointment with advance notice.

Parking in the area is generally not difficult. Some on-street parking is free for two hours and some is metered. It may take a couple trips around the block to find a space. Remember to always fill your meter.

If street parking is unavailable, two parking garages are very close to our shop and are inexpensive. One belongs to Whole Foods market, and the entrance is on South Street between 10 th and 9 th close to 9 th St. Frequently this garage doesn’t charge for 2 hours of parking. The second is above Super Fresh and can be entered on 11 th street between South and Lombard, right after CVS .

Directions:

From New Jersey Turnpike Exit 4 .... about 15-20 min.
Leave Turnpike at Exit 4 turning right on Route 73 (west or north). Pass Route 295 and almost immediately take Route 38 West. Stay in right lane and merge onto Route 30 West (Camden/Ben Franklin Bridge). Stay on Route 30 (Admiral Wilson Blvd.) and cross Ben Franklin Bridge to Philadelphia (toll). Follow signs to 8th Street South. Continue to Spruce Street and turn right. Go to 10th Street and turn left. Go 1 block to Pine Street.

From the South
Go north on I-95 to Philadelphia, passing the airport. Take exit 17, PA-611 N/Broad Street, towards Pattison Avenue. Continue north on Broad Street/PA-611 for several miles. You will pass Washington Avenue and South Street shortly before you come to Pine Street. Turn right on Pine Street and travel four blocks to 10th Street.

OR: Go north on I-95 to Philadelphia, passing the airport.  Take the Columbus Blvd exit.  At the bottom of the ramp take a left onto Columbus Blvd/Delaware Ave.  Take your first left onto Washington Ave.  Take a right on 11th Street, then a right onto Pine Street and travel one block to 10th Street.

From the North
Go south on I-95 to Philadelphia. Take Exit 22, I-676/US-30, toward Central Phila/Independence Hall/Callowhill Street, continuing in the extreme right lane down the exit ramp. At the end of the exit ramp make an immediate right, going west on Callowhill Street. Go to 6th Street and turn left. Continue past Independence Hall (on your left) and go to Spruce Street. Turn right and go to 10th Street. Turn left on 10th Street and go 1 block to Pine Street.

From the West
Take Route 76 East (Schuylkill Expressway) toward Philadelphia. Take Exit 344, Vine St. Exwy/I-676E/US-30 E, toward Central Philadelphia. Continue to the Broad Street Exit, and stay on the 15th Street south ramp. Continue on N 15th Street and turn left onto S. Penn Square traveling around City Hall. Turn right onto Broad Street and follow to Pine Street. At Pine Street, turn left and go 4 blocks to 10th Street.
