Watchmaker’s Drawers, American, circa 1850
Light wood, long and slender drawers set inside a back-painted case, intended to hold watchmaking tools, American, 1850.
The drawers display dovetailed construction while the case shows both dovetails and butt joints. Finely wrought pulls are likely not original, and a replacement for small central knobs on each drawer. Can be used either sitting on a table or hanging on brackets.
Excellent condition, consistent with age and wear.
